This
fruitless variety of olive was discovered in a grove
of Manzanillo olives in 1979. The Wilsonii is a
clean and well-shaped tree that does not produce
fruit and therefore eliminates messy fruit drop.
The Wilsonii makes a slow to moderate growth rate,
and mature specimens provide a canopy 25 feet high
and 25 feet in diameter. These beautiful, dusty
green trees are adaptable to a wide range of climates
and are hardy to 15 degrees. Thornless, pest free,
drought tolerant, and long-lived--the evergreen
Wilsonii makes sense for its beauty and practicality.
