This
handsome evergreen desert tree is rapidly becoming
a real prize sought after by desert landscapers.
An excellent specimen or desert transition tree,
it is also featured in the construction of "mini
oases." Its zigzaged branching pattern and
thorny growth make it a unique landscape focus.
The Texas Ebony is hardy to 18 degrees and has a
wide planting range in desert regions not subject
to lower temperatures. It grows slowly to 20 feet
and prefers good drainage and ample water.
