The Chinese
Windmill Palm serves wonderfully as a small-scale
accent tree all along the Pacific Coast. Its bright,
fan-like fronds and attractive fringed trunk require
little maintenance and stand out among other plantings.
One of the hardiest palms available, to 10 degrees,
the Chinese Windmill Palm is adapted to cooler,
coastal zones. It grows at a slow to moderate rate
with ample water, feeding, and good drainage.
